Full Body/Portrait

What draws me to full-body and portrait photography is how it captures the raw poetry of a person’s existence, the way a body holds memories or resists the world without focusing on the environment but only on the body language. It’s like freezing a fragment of someone’s inner universe, where dreams, fears, and truths collide. For me, these images are a kind of visual soul-searching, peeling back the layers of identity shaped by both our inner psyche and the society that surrounds us.

To me, everyone is photogenic, it’s not about looking perfect, but about wanting to witness, show your true self and the photographer to accept who you are. When someone tells me, "I don’t like being in front of a camera," I ask myself, how is it different from showing yourself to the world every day? We constantly present versions of ourselves to others, carefully choosing what to reveal and what to hide. Photography simply captures a moment of that truth, an opportunity to see and accept yourself as you are, beyond judgment or performance. You only become truly visible when you are at one with yourself, when the image captures not just an outer shell, but the deep connection to your inner being not on how you look from the outside, this is not what Portrait should be.
I feel honored every time I photograph someone, because they allow me to reveal them without putting a word on their personality.
